Our focus is on building comfort in the water while making sure you’re having a great time. By the end of this package, you’ll feel steady on your board, have a solid grasp of the fundamentals & be ready to keep practicing your new skills
5 lesson surf package
If you’re serious about getting into surfing, this package gives you everything a beginner needs to know. Across five progressive sessions, we’ll go deeper into technique, safety, and ocean knowledge—helping you improve your pop-ups, balance, paddling strength, and wave awareness.
You’ll gain more time in the water to practice under guidance, which builds your confidence session by session. You will feel more confident when you catch waves on your own
8 lesson surf package
This is the ultimate way to fast-track your surfing journey and move confidently from beginner to intermediate level. Over eight fun and progressive sessions, we’ll dive deeper into every aspect of surfing—refining your paddling, pop-up, and turning techniques, while also building your understanding of how the ocean works. We’ll focus on improving your timing, positioning, and wave selection so that by the end of the package, you’ll feel completely comfortable paddling into waves
Surfing South Africa is the recognised National governing body for the sport of surfing in South Africa and is a member of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC). Surfing South Africa is a member of the African Surfing Confederation (ASC) and A FOUNDING MEMBER OF the World’s governing body for the sport, the International Surfing Association (ISA). SSA is responsible and accountable for all aspects of surfing in South Africa, from entry-level participation to the management of the junior SA Surf Tour (SAST) and the selection of National Teams. SSA works in partnership with the World Surf League (WSL) and sanctions all WSL events held in South Africa
